In today’s date, everybody knows about book and every single human being must have carried a book in his hand. What is a book? A book is set of printed or a blank paper which are binned together. Writing came into existence about 5000 years ago in Egypt, but at that time there we no grammar part which was included, words were separated from each other and there was no Patten of written. As the days passes by gradually, there were many changes took place in way of writing. As per re-search, the first book dated back to 3500 B.C in ancient Mesopotamia (Iraq). Old book does not mean an antique book, when a book is consider as valuable and rare that book falls in the category of antique books. The first book ever printed was in 1946 and estimated worth for 20 to 40 million dollars. There are many bookshops and libraries where you can value your book. You can value your book in several ways like is it the first edition and if that book is rare like family bibles. There are many web sites where you can value your book. Majority times popularity of books are based on the movie like The Lord of the Rings books by J R R Tolkien, Harry Potter books by J K Rowling, Twilight a romantic novel by Stephenie Meyer and many other more movies which made the record selling price.

About Antiques

The word Antique is derived from the Latin word Antiquus, which means an old item. The word Antique differs from years to years, culture to culture and source to source, when it comes to antiques you can think about Medical Antiques, Old maps and Globes, Time telling instruments, general collectibles etc. When an object is 100 years old or older, it is considered to be antiques. It takes a great search and patience to get the true value of the antiques, right things at a right price depend between the deal of buyer and the seller. The object should have a message and a history behind its making which includes who owned the piece and where it has originated or was located, this will add more value, and if the item is signed by its makers, it can increase the value of your object and if not vice versa, you should know the rare factor of the object, has it been Restored or Repaired and is it fake or real and there are many more tips which you can use at the time of purchase or selling.
